About us

Survivors' Network was established in 1990 by a group of female survivors of childhood sexual abuse to provide services that would support other female survivors of childhood sexual abuse. We've grown from those humble beginnings to an organisation that now offers a range of professional relevant services to survivors of any gender aged 14+ who have experienced any form of sexual violence. We are fully accredited members of Rape Crisis England and Wales and are the Rape Crisis Centre for Sussex.

We are also partners in The Portal which is a partnership of leading Sussex Domestic and Sexual Abuse Charities led by RISE and including change, grow, live. The Portal provides a single point of contact for victims and survivors of domestic or sexual abuse and violence, helping them to find the right help, advice and support. The Portal can also give advice and support to friends, families and professionals. The telephone number for The Portal is Freephone 0300 323 9985, email and

We treat everyone we work with as an individual. We trust in our clients and believe strongly that they are the experts in their experiences and situation. We try to provide options that allow them to make the choices that are right for them. We work within a human rights and equal opportunities framework to empower our clients and help them restore control of their lives and healing.

We are contacted by over 1500 people every year and that number is growing.
