1. Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) : working with clients who have experienced sexual violence and abuse within the church

22.5 hours per week
£25,012 - £ 28,860 FTE based qualifications and experience 
 
Survivors’ Network is pleased to be working with the Diocese of Chichester safeguarding team to recruit an ISVA supporting clients who have experienced sexual violence and abuse within the church.

The ISVA service provides support to survivors of sexual violence and abuse which includes support through the criminal justice process.

As a skilled case worker, you will have significant experience in working with vulnerable people who may have experienced trauma, a commitment to working in a client-centred way and a good understanding of self care. 

This post will be co-located at Survivors’ Network offices in central Brighton and the Diocese of Chichester office in Hove.

2.  Clinical Supervisor

Providing monthly supervision to therapeutic and non-therapeutic members of staff (Fridays)

Rate: £50 per 50 minute supervision session, on a self-employed basis

 

Survivors' Network, Rape Crisis Centre for Sussex, is recruiting a freelance clinical supervisor. 

 

Skills and experience needed: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of issues surrounding sexual violence and extensive post-qualification experience of working with survivors. They will have a high level of knowledge of working with trauma and complex presentations. Knowledge and experience of working with young people and within pre-trial guidelines is an advantage.
