Brighton Create and Connect is for self-identifying women ages 18 or over in Brighton, who have suffered any unwanted sexual experience, at any point in their life. You can chat to a volunteer, do some art, have a cuppa, take home some free sanitary supplies, find out about other support available to you, meet other women who have similar experiences, draw strength from each other and discuss coping strategies.
- When: Fortnightly
- Timings: 11am – 1pm
- Upcoming dates: 28th February, 27th March, 24th April.
- Where: The Black and Minority Ethnic Community Partnership Centre (BMECP Centre), 10A Fleet Street (this is a wheelchair accessible building)
- Cost: Free, no pre-booking required
You are welcome to bring a female friend with you for support. You will not be asked to speak about your experiences.
If you would like to be met at the door by a volunteer or want to ask any questions about the drop-in, please get in touch. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01273 203380 to find out more.
