Trauma Sensitive Yoga
Trauma-sensitive yoga offers a gentle, empowering space for survivors of sexual violence to reconnect with themselves without pressure or expectation.
Trauma Sensitive yoga is a style of yoga practice that prioritises a sense of safety, control, choice and empowerment when practising, with a particular awareness of the impact of trauma on the nervous system. It is a slow form of yoga mixture of standing and more restorative postures.
