Refer Yourself
If you have experienced sexual violence or abuse at any time in your life and are looking for help and support, we are here for you
The Welcome Team are here to help you access the support that feels right for you. You might be thinking about reporting, want help understanding the criminal justice process, be looking for therapy or group work, or simply want to talk things through with a trained and understanding member of our team.
Step 1: Refer yourself
- You can contact us by completing the referral form below, calling us on 01273 203380 (voicemail service), or emailing info@survivorsnetwork.org.uk.
- You can refer yourself, or a trusted third party (such as a friend, partner, or family member) can refer on your behalf, as long as they clearly state that they have your consent. If consent is not clearly stated, we won’t be able to progress the referral.
Step 2: Referral acknowledgement
- Once your referral has been processed, we’ll send you an acknowledgement. This will be by email if we have your email address, or by text message if we don’t.
Step 3: Contact from your Welcome Worker
- Shortly after, your allocated Welcome Worker will contact you using your preferred method (text, email, or phone call) to arrange an initial appointment. This appointment is a chance for you to ask questions, talk about what you need, and explore the support options available to you.
Step 4: Your initial appointment
- Initial appointments can take place face to face at our office, by phone, or via video call; whatever works best for you.
If you need more immediate support, please visit our crisis support and helpline webchat pages.
We look forward to hearing from you.
