New Partnership - City Girl Network Sussex
City Girl Network's Sussex communities announce their partnership with Survivors' Network!
If you live in Brighton or the surrounding areas, there is a good chance you have heard of Brighton Girl.
Brighton Girl is part of the City Girl Network, which operates across multiple cities in the UK. The Brighton Girl’s iconic Facebook group alone has a reach of nearly 30,000 femmes in and around the city, with another 1,300 members signed up to the Worthing Girl group. In 2022, an additional 5,000 members eagerly joined the newly formed and much-needed Rural Sussex Girls Group.
The aim of the City Girl Network’s Sussex communities, set up by Pippa Moyle, is to connect self-identifying women and create a community for those living in both the city and rural areas. Upon speaking to Pippa recently, we were unsurprised to hear that many of the issues facing the network’s users are in line with what we advocate for.
For this reason, Pippa has chosen Survivors’ Network, alongside local loneliness charity Together Co, to be Brighton Girl and Rural Sussex Girl’s charity partner. We are both honoured and excited to be selected and can’t wait to explore creative ways in which we can work together to reach more survivors and gain supporters across Sussex.
