Scapegoating one group makes professionals blind to the realities of abuse, whilst causing harm in communities.

Today, our joint statement signed by more than 70 experts outlines the change we SHOULD be talking about right now:

❌ Survivors of child sexual exploitation are facing higher evidence thresholds to access support
❌ Safe housing, counselling, and basic protections remain out of reach for many
❌ Survivors on non recent abuse still can’t get legal advice or compensation

Survivors come from all backgrounds—exploitation doesn’t discriminate, and neither should our support systems. Every survivor deserves care, dignity, and justice. Share this letter to shift the narrative onto the needs of victims.

The Groupwork Facilitator will strengthen and support the development of our (non-therapeutic) groupwork provision, mainly our in-person peer support groups and our online self-care groups.

They may also develop new groups, both in-person and online.

Reporting an incident of Sexual Violence to the police can be incredibly daunting and you may have lots of questions about what to expect from the process.

There is a real need for those engaging in the criminal justice system to be informed of the processes, timelines, and expectations that are involved when reporting to the police.

Our reporting options drop-in (both in person and on the telephone) gives survivors the chance to be informed prior to reporting.

⚠️ We believe that survivors deserve the government's full attention with a focus on promoting funding and support without ideological influences.

💜 We know this is triggering for many survivors of CSA and we support and believe you. You are not alone and you deserve justice, freedom and peace.

It’s in the ‘jokes,’ the victim-blaming, and the ‘boys will be boys’ attitudes. It’s time to dismantle it.
