Service User Feedback and Outcomes Volunteer

We are currently recruiting a self-identifying woman interested in working as a volunteer to contact our service users to gather feedback about our services.

We have an incredible opportunity to work with survivors and help us with the important job of developing our services to best suit survivors of sexual violence.

If you would like to play a pivotal part in helping us to elevate and amplify survivors’ voices, and can be available for 4 hours a week between 9-5 Monday to Thursday, please find our short application form on our website www.survivorsnetwork.org.uk

No experience necessary as full in-house training is provided. 

We welcome applications from all sectors of our diverse community and applications from older women, BME or LBT women are particularly encouraged.

We welcome applications from former service users, however in order to protect, preserve and promote the well-being of all current and previous service users, we do not accept Volunteer Services Volunteer applications from individuals who are currently using or have used our services within

What does the role involve?toggle accordion content

You will work alongside our Co-Production and Service User Involvement Officer, and will be responsible for contacting all clients when their case has closed. You will be asking them for feedback on the service they received from Survivors’ Network as well as asking questions on how the service might have impacted their lives. You will then be responsible for putting the outcome data onto our case management system and supporting to collate the feedback data.  

What skills would I develop?toggle accordion content

Through this role you will develop an in-depth knowledge of issues surrounding sexual violence and how to appropriately support survivors. You will also develop listening and communication skills. It will equip you with a solid understanding of our services and case management system.  

Where will I need to go?toggle accordion content

Our central Brighton office. Please be aware that this building has several stairs. Please let us know if you have any accessibility needs.

Will I receive training? toggle accordion content

Yes, induction and training will be given within the agreed volunteering hours.

Can I use you as a reference? toggle accordion content

Yes, we offer references after 50 hours of volunteering with us.
