New video from our team
We are here for you. You are not alone.
We are the Rape Crisis Centre for Sussex, and we are still here for you.
We know that it takes a lot of courage to seek help for the effects of sexual abuse. There is no right or wrong way to feel afterwards and there is no fixed time for recovery. No-one ever asks to be raped or is responsible for their abuse in any way. We believe that with the right support you can heal from your experiences.
Due to covid-19 our groupwork and peer support are temporarily on hold, but we are still offering support.
We are running our Helpline twice a week: Mondays and Wednesdays from 12-2pm. There are three numbers you can call us on: 07928 818130 ; 07526 074 753 ; 01273 720 110. These mobiles will only be on during helpline hours. You can also email us for support at help@survivorsnetwork.org.uk. We will check and respond to these emails during helpline hours.
Our ISVA service is still taking referrals to support you through the criminal justice system, and has moved to phone or online appointments for all existing service users.
Similarly, our Counselling service is open to referrals and is offering remote counselling sessions to current service users and anyone who reaches the top of the waiting list during lockdown.
If you would like to find out more you can contact us on info@survivorsnetwork.org.uk or check out further details elsewhere on our website.
