Training & Consultancy
We provide training on the prevalence and realities of sexual violence and its effects on survivors, as well as consultancy support to organisations and businesses.
Our training and consultancy is expert delivered, trauma-informed and aims to embed an intersectional understanding of feminism.
Our training sessions are aimed at supporting anyone who may come into contact with survivors of sexual violence, abuse and/or harassment. Attending our training is especially important for professionals, as employers have a responsibility to ensure that their staff are appropriately trained and cared for when supporting survivors.

The Training Team
Helen Race is our Training and Partnerships Officer.
Helen has been working within Sexual and Domestic violence services for nearly 20 years now – in a variety of frontline, therapeutic, training and managerial roles.
She holds a degree in Psychology and is a qualified therapist; bringing her experience of client work, along with an intersectional eye and trauma-informed principles, to training delivery and partnership working.
Her further experience involves over ten years in Independent Sexual Violence Advisor work, initially in a frontline role, moving into managing the service. She came to this work with experience in Adult Social Care work, eating disorders, Young People’s therapeutic work, groupwork, and holistic support of women offenders. She has also been involved in setting up and developing several successful support services across Sussex.
“I’m excited to be in a position where I can use training and education as a means to create changes in culture and improve responses to sexual violence and abuse – with individuals, organisations and wider society.”
