Over 50's Group Survey
We are developing a specific in-person group for self-identified women who are 50 years old and over, but we need your help!
Over 50s… can you help? We are always wanting to develop our services with help from the people who will benefit.
With the aim of engaging with more survivors across Sussex, we are developing a specific in-person group for self-identified women who are 50 years old or over and who have experienced sexual violence.
If you are a self-identified women survivor of sexual violence, abuse or harassment and you happen to be 50 or over, we want to hear from you! Complete our anonymous survey to help us develop this group and cater to the specific needs of your demographic.

Attitudes around sexual violence in society have changed dramatically over the past century. We have taken a collective look in the mirror in respect of how we have previously dealt with perpetrators and crimes of sexual violence. Sadly sexual violence is still prevalent today, but attitudes towards it have shifted massively. We are currently experiencing the highest level of reported rapes and incidents of sexual assault in history. This doesn’t mean there that more incidents of sexual violence are happening, this means we are speaking up!
Challenging the stigma around survivors over 50 has become a focus of ours. We recognise the absence of self-identifying women over 50 in sexual violence campaigns, websites and social media. We want to improve the visibility of this demographic and meet your needs as survivors of sexual violence.
