Refer Someone
If you are a professional supporting a survivor of sexual violence, you can refer them to our services here.
Once you have referred a client for support (link below), the Welcome Team will contact them to carry out an initial assessment. Based on this assessment, we will refer them to appropriate services within Survivors’ Network and externally. A good starting point for your client is the ‘Get Help’ section of the website which has a range of resources that might be useful.
Who do we support?toggle accordion content
- People who live in Sussex. We will support some clients living outside of Sussex who are giving evidence in court here, on a discretionary basis. We also will support clients who experienced sexual abuse in the Diocese of Chichester.
- People of all genders, though some of our services are for self-identifying women only.
- People who have experienced some form of sexual violence or abuse in their lives.
- People who consent to being contacted by us to discuss their support options in relation to their experience of sexual violence/abuse specifically
What do we offer in Brighton & Hove?toggle accordion content
- Counselling to young people of all genders aged 14 – 17
- Counselling to women aged 18+
- ISVA Support (all ages)
- ISVA Support for children aged 13 and under (and their families/guardians)
- Specific advocacy support for adults (over 18) who experience racism or who require additional support to access services. This support can include, but is not limited to, criminal justice advocacy
- Online & face-to-face group work

- ISVA Support (all ages)
- ISVA Support for children aged 13 and under (and their families/guardians)
- Specific advocacy support for adults (over 18) who experience racism or who require additional support to access services. This support can include, but is not limited to, criminal justice advocacy
- Online & face-to-face group work

- ISVA Support (age 14 and over, delivered in partnership with Worth Services)
- ISVA Support for children aged 13 and under (and their families/guardians)
- Specific advocacy support for adults (over 18) who require additional support to access services. This support can include, but is not limited to, criminal justice advocacy
